Wyong Race Club was pleased to sponsor the Champion Off The Track section at last weekend’s 2017 Morisset Show. The class, which is restricted to retired thoroughbreds, was won by Tuxedo, ridden by Jessica Hobson and owned by Melissa Oven.
An impressive looking son of Fusaichi Pegasus, Tuxedo (pictured) had one start in Australia for a win before being trained by John Size in Hong Kong for a win and a 2nd placing.
Tuxedo has competed successfully in the show ring for the last 18 months since being rehoused on his return from Hong Kong by Hillview Thoroughbreds Rebecca Brown, at Jilliby here on the Central Coast.
Rebecca does an outstanding job having found new homes for over 400 hundred retired racehorses. Tuxedo is being prepared for the upcoming Sydney Royal Easter Show.
